Lviv Croissants is an international franchise network of bakeries offering a wide range of large freshly baked croissants with various sweet and savory fillings.
The company recently entered the French market, facing the challenge of complying with international financial regulations, particularly France’s strict fiscal requirements. Any non-compliance with local laws could lead to delays, fines, or operational disruptions.
The primary goal of the project was to implement Odoo ERP and launch a fully functional system within the shortest possible timeframe. This required a well-structured and efficient approach to ensure the seamless integration of all key business processes and their smooth operation from day one.
A critical aspect was configuring sales through the POS system to ensure error-free transactions. It was essential to add all products to the system, set up the process of receiving goods into inventory, automate write-offs, and establish a detailed reporting procedure. Without a fully functional and synchronized system, daily operations such as order processing, inventory tracking, and financial reporting would be inefficient, potentially leading to revenue loss and operational challenges.
Additionally, the hardware needed to be integrated into the restaurant’s operational system. This involved configuring and connecting POS terminals, receipt printers, barcode scanners, and other essential devices to Odoo ERP.
The Solvve team conducted a detailed analysis of the company's business processes and studied French legislation to configure the system in compliance with fiscal localization requirements.
Based on this analysis, Odoo ERP was implemented to integrate all business processes. The POS system was customized to meet the specific needs of the restaurant business, improving sales management, inventory control, and reporting while ensuring compliance with financial standards.
Inventory management processes were also adapted to align with Odoo’s logic. A return type selection feature was added, and product card visuals were enhanced to improve cashier convenience.
